Relaxed and Ready

NLP (neurolinguistic programming) teaches people to have more choice about the state in which they approach tasks and challenges. The optimal state for any task that requires thought is one of being relaxed and ready. In this evening workshop, learn how to identify and replicate your best state for approaching challenges and interacting with challenging people.

NLP for Healing

Can changing the way you think help you overcome physical and emotional pain so you can focus on what you want? Of course it can. Using NLP you can harness imagination, curiosity and determination to move through pain to hope and accomplishment. In just two hours, experience the difference that happens when you find what you need to support natural healing and the ability to do what you want to do.

Success Begins with Curiosity

Did curiosity really kill the cat? Learning to repress our natural curiosity is the best way to avoid happiness, engagement and resilience. Learn how NLP restores the curiosity that you had as a child and puts it to work so that you can be more aware, more engaged, and more satisfied with your ability to make change happen.

Storytelling and Listening for Coaches

As a coach, the stories you hear and tell are powerful tools for connecting, changing behaviour or influencing choices. Learn how to listen so that clients will tell you stories, and how to tell the right stories at the right times so that clients will connect and consider.

Coaching with NLP

An evening of explanations, demonstrations and fresh developments. Come to a coaching evening and get a fresh perspective on something that’s been bothering you (we can work content free). Come as a coach and get answers about creating more vivid experiences and building stronger commitments to change. Come because you’re curious and stay because you are determined to improve your practice.

The 5 Principles of Positive Change

Learn the five principles that drive change and how to apply them to your own challenges to yield fast, effective, safe results. This is an overview of the teaching at NLP Canada Training.

Use Your Whole Brain!

One of the five core principles of NLP is that the mind and body form a continuous, integrated system. Much of your unconscious "thought" emerges as signals within your body or senses.  Learn a new way to pay attention to yourself. You'll find that you can trust your instincts and think faster than you thought you could.

How to Uncover the Strength You Need

To do NLP, you begin with the idea that everyone (even you) already has the resources they need to solve their problems and lead a more satisfying life. The only problem is how to connect the right strengths and experiences to the situation that you want to influence now. Learn how to uncover what you need to make the changes you want to make (and how to help others find that they are stronger than they think they are).

Building Agreement in Love and Work

The greatest genius of MIlton Erickson, the famous psychiatrist and hypnotherapist, was his ability to work around resistance by finding and building on common ground. Erickson used non-verbal behaviour, inclusive language and storytelling to create agreements that supported change. Learn how to find and build on common ground with anyone you want to influence.

Purpose Drives Performance

In NLP circles, they often say things like "intention matters" or "the strongest intention wins." As important as rapport is to influence, it is more important to have a clear vision of what you want and what it will change. Explore how thinking about your purpose allows you to set goals. Learn how goals can improve your experience even before you achieve them.
