Writing with NLP

Join Linda Ferguson on Tuesday,  January 29, 2008 (7 PM to 10 PM, 47 Queen's Park Cres. E.) to explore how the principles and practices of NLP can add life to the way you write.

In the first half of the evening, we'll explore the concepts of anchoring and changing states (of mind and body) through the written word. Learn how subtle details make big differences in how we interpret patterns and states. Practice using powerful details to change what you write so you can change what you feel. Become aware of rhythm and cadence and practice changing the beat of your inner drummer.

In the second half of the evening, we'll move on to using written language to change the way other people think. Become clear on the distinction between what you write and how you write. Learn how to translate the elements of non-verbal rapport into the written word. Transform the way you think about building agreement.

Most importantly, learn that written language is a form of play. Done well, it creates new possibilities, new connections and new energy.
