CANLP

NLP Canada Training is a long-time institutional member of the Canadian Association of NLP.  This year, Linda Ferguson and Chris Keeler will travel to the annual conference in Montreal to present on an approach to the meta model that minimizes jargon and maximizes listening & speaking skills.  After a break, we will return to demonstrate how combining NLP and a model of personality types lets you develop powerful approaches to building rapport and influence.

The Meta-Model in Action

What do a cop and a poet have in common?  Answering the question demands that you access a level of useful abstraction. In this 90 minute interactive workshop, you will learn a common sense approach to the meta model that transports you from jargon into practice. If you’ve ever been blocked by terminology, this hard-headed, light-hearted approach to the meta-model will engage your conscious and unconscious minds. We will restore your fascination with the way language moves between the world as it is and the world as it could be.

SÉANCES 3 / BREAKOUT SESSIONS 3 – 15H30 TO 17H00

WHAT’S TYPE GOT TO DO WITH IT? PERSONALITY AND NLP

If NLP gives you the ability to make a quick, strong connection with anybody you meet, why do you need personality type theory to help you build rapid, effective rapport?  If you can calibrate change and resourcefulness in your clients, how could personality type theory add to your toolkit for identifying leverage points?  Does NLP really give practitioners access to all the most important patterns in human behaviour and motivation?  It’s time for NLP to grow up, evolve, and work with other mainstream models to produce stronger results.  Enjoy the show as Chris Keeler and Linda Ferguson explain why models of personality are a useful addition to the NLP toolkit.
